A seemingly innocent lobster, devoid of all of its own power, faces fear in its descent into a boiling pot of water to be cooked for consumption. The danger is so near, the color of its shell changes color to the encroaching heat as it braces itself for the excruciating submersion. The throbbing, glistening red to blue exoskeleton alludes to fading life and increasing danger.
