MessageThis sculpture of found objects and brown paper depicts bees communicating with a woman through a kitchen funnel in the woman's left ear. A bee has camped out in her right eye. A pinkish, retro telephone cord extends from the woman's right ear to the area in front of her, where a bee telephone sits - waiting for the woman to listen to bee grievances. I was a beekeeper and teacher in Honduras as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer, which informs my respect for bees.
