Came across this abandoned and derelict Bait Shop in Wachapreague on a recent trip down the lower Virginia Eastern Shore. It was a rainy day and the storms started just after laying in the composition. Fortunately a building with a large overhanging porch was just across the street and next to the Bait Shop. Picked up the easel and moved to this new location to complete the painting. Just as I finished, the rain came down even harder so I packed up and hustled back to the hotel
