The pond at Reinstein Woods Nature Center in Buffalo, NY. I've painted this scene before in a smaller size, but wanted to do a Studio Piece in a larger size to reflect the true sense of the area. Painting on Aluminum Composite minimizes absorbtion of the oil in the paint and brings out the luminosity inherent in a bright fall afternoon.
