On a trip to Croatia a few years ago we visited a small town just outside the walled city at Dubrovnik. A walk around the port after dinner revealed this small fishing boat highlighted against the dark waters and lights of the opposite shore. An artist's delight for sure. Always fun to paint a nocturne that works.
