I’ve been a member of the local public Gardens for a number of years. The Garden has a variety of pastural setting to excite any artist and this painting is from my memories of past visits. Stepping through an opening in a hedge, the visitor is presented with a view of the great meadow on the right and a path leading into the walled Rose Garden.
