I have only ever visited Blair Atholl in Summer, and have painted many views inspired by days out at the International Horse Trials held there every August.
However, I saw a photograph of snow-covered hills behind the Castle and felt I could use a similar composition but cool down the palette. I think this new wee painting works quite well.
