Holidays, and travel always provide new things to see and in my case, new things to paint.
This painting is inspired by a boat trip along the Seine through Normandy. The trip took in Monets garden at Giverny and Van Goghs grave in Auvers but this painting is a response to the distinctive architecture of rural Normandy.
