This rock was originally covered in moss. I wanted to keep the moss in the sculpture but didn't get around to carving it for years. When I was ready to work on it, the moss wasn't. The moss finally dried up. Without a plan, I began clearing off the rough spots and the dead moss. The colors that came through are awesome; reminding me of the clear waters of the sea. I left the inside unpolished to show the natural stone.
