Lady Flamingo

The colors are definitely more vibrant in person. Whites are whiter, too. But this is a gorgeous piece from my Shorebird collection for 2025.

I wanted to make some frameable bird paintings in my Shorebird collection. This is one of several new pieces.

Lady Flamingo is textured by painting in short strokes, like I did on my Mod Bird painting. I think it the water shows motion and the sky, while clear, gives a little hint of some small, wispy clouds. Just a gorgeous day for a gorgeous bird to be wading in the water.

Painted in acrylic on study acid-free paper, matted and framed, it is signed by me, the artist.
