In this triptych from The Adelaide Series, I explore the intersection of the industrial landscape and the ethereal quality of recollection. By utilizing archival pigment on Red River Palo Duro Etching rag and finishing each piece with hand-applied cold wax, the sharp lines of South Australian barricades and smokestacks are softened, mirroring the way time blurs the edges of our experiences. The Cross, The Gold, and The Burn serve as meditative windows into a world where the mundane is transformed by light, inviting the viewer to linger in the spaces where memories softly fall
