Animals have grabbed my attention, particularly birds because their beauty in both color and shape exist in innocence; they know not how lovely they are.

Painted in the plein air fashion, every morning in September, rain or shine, capturing that moment of sunrise over Lake Michigan from Promontory Point on Chicago's Southside. The scene was lovely, as were all the runners, open water swimmers, dog walkers, and bicyclists who shared the experience of daybreak.
Contemporary oil painter in Chicago.
