A smaller scale version of my ‘Ancient’ series inspired by discovered cave paintings or petroglyphs and petrograms. Of course my colors are not true to life as blues and certain reds in my piece were not used or available to the artists who created the paintings. The history of color is fascinating but these type of paintings give me an earthy feel I enjoy.
