Study of drip method abstract painting using vibrant metallic paints. During my days as a faux finisher, I loved the gorgeous deep colors that bronze and copper metals brought to a ceiling or wall and the light-play that occurred over it's surface. Here I've used those rich colors as a backdrop for the vivid hues of blue metallics. The rich background pulls in your view with deep warmth while the blues sparkle a staccato note of counterpoint coolness and electricity.
