I’m excited to introduce my newest oil painting, Sun-Kissed Rose Radiance. At 18”x24”, it’s a cheerful floral bouquet set against a soft pink backdrop, bursting with golden-yellow roses that have a little extra something—a touch of orange and peach that I haven’t explored before. There’s also a lively green flower with petals that seem to reach right out from the canvas, surrounded by clusters of smaller pink blooms and fresh greenery painted with energetic brushstrokes. And if you look closely, a tiny butterfly rests just above the flowers, along with my trademark tiny hummingbird, adding delicate hints of whimsy. This piece was inspired by my time in an oil blooms workshop with Dimitra Milan, where I played around with an uncommon rose arrangement that brought a new twist to my usual palette. It’s a bright, joyful celebration of color and movement that I can’t wait to share.
