I’m excited to introduce my latest piece, I Found Nature! It’s a 12”x24” oil and mixed media painting where a woman’s face peeks through what looks like an old, weathered wooden wall. Her warm skin tones glow with reds and pinks, while her hair flows organically into vibrant pink and red flowers. Scattered among the blooms are butterflies in shades of yellow, orange, and black, adding a bit of lively movement to the scene. The cracked texture gives it that vintage feel, like nature is breaking through time and wood. Creating this one felt like uncovering a secret garden—sometimes you just have to peek through the cracks to find the wild beauty waiting on the other side.
