Most of the time I stay away from neutrals, such as grey and beige. But not in this case. Again, the designer did a wonderful job creating the rose designs in soft greys. I gave myself a challenge to see if I could create another floral quilt for my collection. I did find soft neutral greys and beiges to bring out the subtle floral designs in the fabric. I have saw that my traditional quilts in this collection lend themselves very nicely to log homes with gorgeous log walls. I’ve had this collection on display on such walls and all the quilts look absolutely stunning in such a setting.
In 2025 I made some updates to some of the Botanical Medallions, adding hand crochet elements for texture and added visual interest.
