I love the majesty, the colors and the splendor of this magnificent bird. I have fond memories of visiting Haifa, Israel and seeing and hearing these big birds walking around displaying the gorgeous plumes and making a horrible sound. It seems a strange whim of nature to have something so beautiful and unique not sound lovely and melodious.
