The Re-mix adding textural elements almost done, ready to sew down to the quilt.
This piece was so much fun to design and then when I decided to update and add textures I really enjoyed the new visual and the almost 3-D effects from the crocheting. It strikes me as a very modern design with elements of an older handicraft that I learned when a young girl joining my Mom in her sewing bees.
