I had a dream a long time ago when I was living in SoCal and I heard all kinds of drumming and American Indian like figures in colourful costumes were drumming and dancing in circles. I was truly inspired and started cutting out leaves in batiks. I had one particular batik which had a circle design with dots and that circle became the center for all the mandalas that I was able to create in various colors and configurations.
