I love barns. What's better than a barn? A cluster of them! I spotted this old mill January 2021 on the way to Mobile Bay. In January 2022 I had the presence of mind to have my wife grab a quick photo as we drove by. In 2023, I will stop and do more detailed shots and try to learn more about it. Meanwhile I've painted it with watercolor here. I really enjoy the different shapes, how the barns are pieced together, and how the shadows link the shapes. Meanwhile I appreciate the history and imagine it as a bustling hive of activity, sparking memories of my childhood.
