Historic Washington State Park. I was inspired by interaction of the built landscape and the spring flowers (daffodils) which were abundant throughout the park. There was kind of a solitude present as the buildings were pretty much empty, and the daffodils were a lingering presence of long-gone inhabitants. I overemphasized the presence of the flowers in the art to symbolize their quiet dominance
