This lively piece is one of a series of still life abstracts I've been working on featuring some common accoutrements in the kitchen for entertaining, cooking, or serving. Some are watercolor, but "Lively Affair" is a mixed media piece, with watercolor as a base on stretched paper, accented with acrylic and oil pastel. It is framed without mat or glass.
