"Dragonfly" is associated with transcendence. Dragonfly chronicles the dire beauty of precarious life perched on the edge of a rifting abyss. The regular recrossing of that chasm requires a continual repainting of my watercolor skin (with the colors of an ever-changing identity) to enable creeping back into this particularly slippery reality, with its serial progression of moments and over abundance of everyday demons locked in eternal battle.
