“SOMETHING FROM YOUR WILDEST DREAMS” is a large-scale abstract with a palette that holds a special place in my practice: I’ve always been drawn to the combination of pink, orange and red — colors that, 20 or 30 years ago, might have been considered unconventional or even clashing. Today, they’re seen together more often, and I find their interaction incredibly powerful. They “bite” just enough to create tension, without becoming overly sweet or harmonious.
