The first piece I painted in my newly organized studio. I love it; the red and dark gray look powerful and strong, and although I often find this color combination too harsh, here it's fantastic in combination with the soft, blurred pink and a touch of orange. But it was difficult; I worked with many layers, and it gave me a hard time until at a late stage did they partially blend together to create this amazing texture and color. So the title is spot on...
