Summer's gone, days are getting shorter, earth and rain have the typical autumn smell. The circle of life comes to an end before awakening again next spring - and you have this peculiar feeling, the wish to be safe and secure with your loved ones, cuddling at home, be thankful - a SPEECHLESS YEARNING in your gut.
I choosed the wording "Speechless Yearning" from J. W. von Goethe's "Nachgefühl" ("After-Sensations"), that perfectly described what the painting of this series makes me feel, though he meant it in another way!
