Raimana van Bastolaer, often regarded as the Godfather of Tahitian Surfing, epitomizes the spirit of the surf community at Teahupoo, famously known as the End of The Road. Over several seasons, I have captured his remarkable presence at this legendary surf break. On this particular day, the swell reached extreme heights, allowing surfers to ride only with the assistance of a jetski. Captured with a 50mm lens, I swam near the impact zone to frame the wave and surfer in harmony, reflecting the vision I witnessed from the water.
