La serie Geometrías Aladas, nos sumerge en un acto donde la gracia y la ligereza del vuelo de las aves, se entrelazan con la solidez del metal. A través de esta serie de esculturas en lámina oxidada, busco capturar la esencia del vuelo de las alas que surcan los cerros de Bogotá, desafiando la gravedad y la materialidad de los cuerpos que elevan. Cada obra es una declaración de la paradoja entre la delicadeza de las formas aladas y la resistencia del metal, invitándonos a reflexionar sobre la dualidad inherente a la naturaleza y la vida misma. Este compendio de obras es un testimonio poético que nos recuerda que, incluso en la densidad de nuestra materialidad, el espíritu puede elevarse y danzar con la libertad del cielo. The Winged Geometries series immerses us in an act where the grace and lightness of the flight of birds are intertwined with the solidity of metal. Through this series of sculptures in rusty sheet, I seek to capture the essence of the flight of the wings that fly over the hills of Bogotá, defying gravity and the materiality of the bodies they lift. Each work is a statement of the paradox between the delicacy of winged forms and the resistance of metal, inviting us to reflect on the duality inherent in nature and life itself. This compendium of works is a poetic testimony that reminds us that, even in the density of our materiality, the spirit can rise and dance with the freedom of heaven.
