Initially an exercise in loosening up my studio practice, I covered my studio walls in 40x40cm squares of paper and began really loose mark making. The resulting paintings have less prominent architectural features and a lighter, more atmospheric feel. The best of the group were framed and shown at a solo show at Tandem Coffee shop and Gallery in Meanwood, Leeds.
