My practice combines iconological research and material experimentation.
In dialogue with Indigenous sages, I discover prayers that express a profound reciprocity with the spirits of nature.
Inspired by this eco-poetics, I select elements under the tutelage of these presences.
I construct a hybrid language where ancestral archetypes are placed at the crossroads of contemporary experience.
I conceive the creative process as an expanded practice in which the artistic gesture becomes a ritual act.

BIO
Joaquín Ponzinibbio (Buenos Aires, 1984).
Professor and B.A. in Art History from the National University of La Plata (UNLP).
For over fifteen years, he has researched Indigenous art and worldviews. He taught the course Art History II — Ancient America and worked as an associate researcher at the Institute of Argentine and Latin American Art History (UNLP).
