Work Statement
El temblor is part of a series in which the body emerges as an unstable and transformative territory. The figure, composed of bands of color, advances across a geometric landscape that vibrates beneath its steps. This tension between the organic and the structural suggests a state of passage—an oscillation between balance and movement. The work continues to explore the relationship between matter, memory, and space, proposing vulnerability as a form of existence and tremor as a shared language between the body and its surroundings.
Artist Statement
My practice focuses on the creation of symbolic universes where bodies, objects, and spaces engage in dialogue with notions of vulnerability and transition. I explore the image as a territory of collective memory and transformation, seeking a balance between rational structure and poetic language.
