Mayor's Art Show 2023

Grace Hanich is an Oregonian artist who loves exploring the whimsically dark and grim aspects of life and death through mixed media. Grace uses a combination of colored pencil, marker, pen and acrylic paint to examine the connection between elements of the natural world and death. With inspiration from supernatural and apocalyptic media, she reflects her own concerns about a changing living environment and the destructive path it can lead to.
