“This mural is an exploration of the grieving process, and dedicated to my father, Jimmy Siemens. He was deeply involved in the Whiteaker music scene before he passed away in 2012. It aims to recast grief as not solely a sad state of being - but instead a thing from which we grow and adapt, constantly tying our lives to those who we lost. From death spring life, and so the circle continues.”
