Local radio personality Tim Fox has long been fascinated by birds and animals. His father's military career gave his family the chance to see colorful birds and wildlife all over the planet. During Covid in 2020, a birding social media site caught his eye.

He was stunned by the beauty and sharpness of the images taken by local photographers of elusive birds. He was so inspired by these photographs that he decided to start from scratch and try to create his own. So began Tim's journey into the art of photography. Thanks to the excellent adult education photography classes at Lane Community College and lots of YouTube videos, he embarked on a deep dive into the intricacies of apertures, shutter speeds and focal lengths. Three short years later, he has been swept up in fascinating world of bird and wildlife photography and spends much of his spare time in the woods or nearby parks trying to find cooperative subjects.
