Stephanie Wright is an Indigenous mixed-media artist based in the Pacific Northwest and a proud member of the Klamath Tribes. A Sapsik’ʷałá Alumni of the University of Oregon, she is also an educator in the city of Eugene. Stephanie draws inspiration from the traditional lands of the Mukluks (Klamath) people and their intricate basketry designs, as well as from the deep love and support of her family. Her artistic practice spans many mediums, incorporating materials such as pine needles, wire, beads, metals and stones to create works that reflect both cultural tradition and personal expression.
