Lin Long is a mixed media artist from the Forest County Potawatomi and Menominee tribes, based in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Inspired by the forest, she blends traditional and contemporary forms to reflect life among the trees.
Her intuitive process is guided by the land. Tree imagery symbolizes growth, while shifting colors mirror the seasons and current social climate. Lin sees herself as a conduit, listening to the land and translating its voice into art.
