Leigh Williams favors sculptural materials that have been transformed by fire: clay, welded steel, bronze casting and blown glass. She was educated at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and has worked —large and small — in all of her favored media over her artistic life, depending on circumstances and availability.
