Kum Ja Lee is an artist based in Eugene, Oregon, originally from Seoul, South Korea. Lee holds an MFA, BFA and B.A. from her studies in the United States and South Korea and has taught in universities in Korea. She works with paintings, fibers and installations. Her work has been exhibited at venues locally and internationally from Eugene, Oregon to Seoul, South Korea. She has received awards from juried art exhibitions, such as the Jane Stevens King Visiting Artist Award, the Artist Gant from Lane Arts Council, the People’s Choice Award and the Curator’s Choice Award for the Mayor’s Art Shows.
