Kathy Hoy has worked as an artist and an Art Instructor in the Eugene area for over fifty years. She studied Chinese Painting from Master Hwong in Taiwan. She graduated from Taiwan Normal University in 1965. Kathy received an MFA in Painting in 1969. She taught Chinese Painting in the Community Education at Lane Community from 1970 to 1999. Her work has been shown at the Schnitzer Museum of Art at the University of Oregon, Maude Kerns Art Center, Spokane Art Museum, Coos Bay Art Museum, Portland State University, Corvallis Art Center and other venues.
