Jud Turner is a professional sculptor and Eugene-born, where he works daily in his studio, The Oblivion Factory, alongside his wife Renee Mahni, who is also an artist. Turner works with welded metals and found/repurposed objects as his main materials. His work has been collected and exhibited all over the world and has won numerous viewer's choice awards. He has permanent public sculptures installed around Eugene and throughout the Pacific Northwest. With over 25 years of professional experience, his sculptures tend to depict subjects such as animals and industrial landscapes with a stylized realism that is immediately recognizable. He was educated at Lane Community College and the University of Oregon, where he focused on drawing and painting, skills which are foundational to his current 3D studio practice. Turner has been represented by Woolff Gallery in London, UK since 2010, and has work in diverse collections such as Ripley's Believe it or Not, Southern Methodist University (Dallas), Lightfield Labs (Los Angeles), XPO Logistics (Boston) and Ninkasi Brewery (Eugene).
