Cesia Hernandez was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She had always enjoyed art and going to museums as a child. Growing up, she was attracted to floral forms and would be inspired by the flowers all around her. Cesia was able to find her passion as a metalsmithing and jewelry student during her early college years. She is a recent graduate from University of Oregon with a BFA in metalsmithing and jewelry.
