A strong autobiographical and narrative intent is evident in Kati Thamo’s work. In ‘Moorings’, from an aerial perspective, boat or dinghy shaped structures are depicted over three panels. The unusual textural quality of Thamo’s textural prints is achieved by collaging a variety of materials, especially fabric, onto a cardboard base plate, and printed.
