About
Fall is part of a series of four sculptures by artist Daud Akhriev. The Four Seasons consists of four larger than life size bronze sculptures of the female figure. Each of the figures represents a woman in a different stage of life in each of the four seasons - spring, summer, fall, and winter. The sculptures rest on a sphere representing the Earth and symbolizing the seasons acting on our planet. The series was inspired by Akhriev’s travels through Europe and Russia, where he noticed how sculpture and architecture work together and create landmarks where people can meet and rest.
