Atrack by artist John Davis illustrates the importance of the railroad and associated industry to the history of Chattanooga. Rail transportation was vital to this community dating back to the Civil War era and enabled Chattanooga to become a major center of industry in the South. The artwork suggests the power, motion, and dynamism of a railroad engine. A half-round vessel is connected to wheels with assemblies reminiscent of the piston elements of steam engines. There is an implied motion as if the pistons have tipped the vessel up on its edge.

Landing at Broad Street and West Aquarium Way is a companion piece to Atrack. The sculptures were made possible with a generous grant from the Benwood Foundation. Additional support for this project was provided by the Chattanooga Land Company, the City of Chattanooga, and the Riverfront Business and Resident Partnership.
