This is one of 16 pieces in “Wall Devices”, an installation of 16 wall-mounted ‘devices’ that futilely strive for connections across political and societal divisions. Each ‘device’ is composed of a shadow-like black disk, upon which a white disk seems to float. Upon each white disk is a small wall, faded blue on one side, faded red on the other, plus an odd device that strains futilely to bridge the disconnect.
