Chris Pavlik is an artist currently residing in Gelnhausen, Germany. His paintings are explorations of place and time, be it the everyday occurrences of people long past, the swamps of Acadiana or the haunted ghost towns of yesteryear. Born into a highly mobile Army family, he has maintained his nomadic ways and lived and shown in Missouri, Washington, Idaho, Louisiana, and Washington, DC. He has shown at numerous galleries and museums in the US, including the Hilliard Museum of Art in Lafayette, LA; the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans, LA; and Good Children Gallery in New Orleans, LA. He is represented by The Ada Gallery in Richmond, VA.
