Collection: Roots of Africa
These artworks are part of the exploration of my South African roots and the primal forces that lie dormant in all of us.
The “Roots of Africa” series of works explores the multi-layered themes of one's roots and being human. My semi-abstract paintings blend intuitive African motifs and symbols with modern elements to offer a profound exploration of identity and belonging. The works invite the viewer to embark on a journey of self-discovery and self-reflection, revealing the beauty and complexity of African culture and the exploration of one's roots and primal forces.
