Dear Earth,
Even in your smallest corners,
you build cathedrals of impossible geometry.
Staircases of metal and light,
stacked like thoughts
we haven’t learned to think yet.
Color fractures into language here,
chromatic and strange—
an iridescent reminder
that beauty doesn’t need symmetry,
only intention.
You made this from cooling atoms and quiet time.
And still, you surprise me.
With love,
—Cat Atom
