Dear Earth,
Along the Oregon Coast Trail,
I walked between salt and sky,
where wildflowers lean reckless toward the edge,
and trees anchor themselves to stone
as if love alone could hold them.
Below, the ocean keeps breathing—
steady, indifferent, infinite.
But here above, with sunlight in the grasses
and wind at my back,
I remembered how it feels
to belong to something vast and beautiful.
Thank you for letting me follow your edges.
With love,
